Kids ages 5 & up, express yourself, make art, learn rhythms and explore the world at Summer of HeART with Youth Arts Alliance. This free eight-week series invites you to try new things with YAA teaching artists and community partners. All supplies and a snack provided.
Each day’s activities will be different. The lineup is offered by YAA Teaching Artists & community partners:
Improv theater workshops led by Josh McDaniel. A fun introduction to theater and improv comedy through games and activities. Option to perform at the Summer of HeART celebration in August!
Sculpture, print-making, papermaking, ceramics, and paper mache with Anna Schwartz. Explore various art forms and try something new. Walk away with a finished product or work on your project over the course of several days and weeks.
